(MANUSCRIBER) Jean-Félicissime ADRY (Vincelotte, Yonne 1749-1818), bibliographer and humanist. Le Fou de Qualité, or History of Henri, Count of Moreland, translated from the English by M. Brooke. Unsigned, unpublished manuscript, written in black ink, well calligraphed, without erasures, composed of three parts: the translation of the novel, from page 1 to 62, followed by a white page, then a part entitled "Places Entrenched", from page 65 to 86, corresponding to passages not transcribed in the first part, and finally a Notice on Brooke and Notes, from page 87 to 101. A bound copy in a half-marquin, spine ribbed with gold fleurons, head gilt. Binding signed B. David. Provenance: Bibliothèque Gustave Mouravit (monogrammed stamps).
