Pendulum with the "Bacchante" at the signature of Rouvière in Paris (received Master in 1781). Enamelled dial with hour-markers, with Arabic numerals, enamelled black for the hours and minutes and red for the dates. The movement rests on a drapery supported by two cherubs each straddling an ibex. At the top is a long bacchante raising its bowl. White marble terrace. Chiseled bronze and gilded with mercury.
