[THE "COSMOPOLITAN FIRM" COLLECTION]. Collection of 91 titles published between 1925 and 1947 in the "Le Cabinet cosmopolite" collection by Stock Editions. Paris: Librairie Stock, 1925-1947. - 91 volumes in-18, paperbacks. This collection was created in 1925 under the direction of Lucien Maury. Its aim was to bring together works of foreign literature, most of which had been translated into French for the first time. This collection is composed of 91 works in 91 bound in-18 volumes, published between 1925 and 1947, i.e. almost all the titles published before the war. Each copy, unless otherwise stated, is numbered on esparto paper. In addition to works printed in small numbers such as those by Virginia Woolf (550 copies for Les Vagues et Années), and also Mrs Dalloway and Flusch, the collection includes titles of works such as Amok ou le Fou de Malaysie, la Confession d'un jeune Anglais, Intentions d'Oscar Wilde, and many others, by authors as diverse as: Michel BABITS, Herman BANG, Maurice BARING, Max BEERBOHM, Arnold BENNETT, H.
