281_Anti_Nuke is one of Japan's best-known urban artists.
He has specialized in the fight against nuclear power and the fight for the environment since the Fukushima disaster. Based on a stencil technique, his style is reminiscent of the street artist Banksy. As his speech is not unanimously accepted, he is often threatened with death on the web, that's why he doesn't allow anyone to take pictures of him and doesn't give his name to any journalist.
Street Art remains a very marginal practice in the Japanese capital and is not appreciated by the rather conservative authorities.
