Armour, Solvay and painted metal "The metal intervention symbolizes protection grafted onto the stool. This reference to the helmets of the armour that men wore in the Middle Ages to fight is our wink to the year 2020. Our partnership with the publisher and ironworker Maison Pouenat was an obvious way to highlight this metal work through a craft and high-end know-how. The cutting of the tray of the stool is inspired by the small slits in the knights' helmets. The color blue is a symbol of escape, an echo to life, to travel, that we have so much desired during this special year." Wilson Associates for La Source
