Collection of 48 lithographed colour plates of traditional costumes and disguises, some enhanced with gold: Polish, kazoo, chickweed merchant, Alsatian, love messenger, Florentine student, Chinese, Bulgarian, shrimp fisherman, jockey, aerostat, etc.
Below each plate is a description for designing the dress.
