Huysmans has retired, whose conversion scandalized the free thinkers a few years ago, while naturally arousing the mistrust of good people. I went to visit him at the Christmas party. I attended midnight mass and the offices of the monks the next day [...] I will tell you how beautiful it was. My friend lives there very happily. He is an Oblate and lives in a house next to the convent [...]".
