Exceptional, important and fine Tabriz. (North West Iran). Wool and silk. Around 1980/85. Technical characteristics: Velvet made of quality silky wool, flowers surrounded by silk on cotton and silk foundations. Note the endings with small silk cartridges with inscriptions. Density. Approx. 9000 knots per dm². Ivory field with scrolls and foliage of scrolls of flowered palmettes framing a large central rose window with old gold, lilac, bluish grey and bronze flowered crown. Good general condition. Dimensions: 360 x 246 cm.
