Allegory of Time in ivory finely carved in the round. Standing on a globe, the allegorical figure, naked and winged, holds a sickle in his left hand and an hourglass in the other; he carries on his back a skeleton, draped by a shroud, holding an arrow in one hand; the position of the skeleton's legs marries that of the walking figure.
