Aubusson tapestry in wool and silk, late 19th century, early 20th century "Henry IV" A rich, exuberant border with characters and bouquets of flowers frames a hunting scene taking place in a lush undergrowth. In the background a village is basking at the foot of a river. Our hunters on foot and on horseback and our packers run in all directions, behind packs of dogs, on the trail of various game.
