Plate with a magnificent decoration in full testifying to a know-how used by the earthenware factory. It presents a swamp scene with, perched on a branch, a cockatoo above a pond where water irises bloom. Note the delicate colours of the pistils of the flowers and the plumage of the bird. Black background. Very rare piece, period 1875 Accidents and repairs.
