Exceptional and very important tapestry of Enghien (Flanders) mid 16th century. Atelier de Philippe van der Cammen In silk and wool Rare tapestry has several themes including cephalous and procris (in perspective on the right), Diana the huntress surrounded by her companions and nymphs in a French park surrounded by a fountain and we can see in the background in perspective the mountains of the Ardennes. Exceptional and very wide border with medallions of characters that we find in this magnificent tapestry panel surrounded by basins of flowers and fruits. Height: 328 cm, Width: 450 cm (some restorations of maintenance, beautiful state of conservation, remarkable freshness of the colors).
