Gervy/Pat'Apouf detective. Album "La bande à Chico" 1947 edition in TBE+. Very rare. 16 X 19 cm
His pseudonym dates from 1930, and comes from the contraction of his first name and that of his wife Germaine. He created the character of the detective Pat'Apouf in the pages of the weekly Le Pèlerin in 1938. The character was taken up again in 1973 by Jean Ache, then by Michel Conversin in 1986, and finally by Ballofet from 1988 to 1991.
