Part of a service of cut crystal glasses comprising 129 pieces and composed as follows:
- Thirty-four water glasses.
- Twenty-four wine glasses.
- Nineteen white wine glasses of the Rhine (white and red glasses, some decorated with a gold filet).
- Twenty-five white wine glasses.
- Twenty-three champagne glasses.
- Two decanters without stoppers.
- Two jugs.
(A few chips, good general condition, slight variations in model, only one model bears a few Baccarat stamps.)
Note:
Model presented at the World's Fair of 1867 and ordered by Ahmed Pasha. Émile Loubet ordered this service in 1899 and it is still displayed on the gala tables of the Elysée Palace.
