Two portraits representing a man and a woman in profile bust
Watercolours on paper, signed lower right.

Former collection of the family of a governor of Indochina
TRAN BINH LOC is a rare painter, he died prematurely at the age of 27, when he was going to become a professor at the School of Fine Arts of Indochina, of which he was part of the class of 1934. These two portraits are to be compared with older figures (who appear to be the same couple) drawn in sanguine and black stone technique.
