Jean-Christophe Quinton, born in 1972, is an architect who graduated from the École Paris-Belleville. Winner of the NAJA in 2003/2004, mentioned in the Chernikov Prize in 2010, Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters and of the Order of Academic Palms, he is the director of the National Superior School of Architecture of Versailles since 2015. The singularity of his architecture is based on simple and expressive figures linking matter and writing, use and form, architecture and its environment. His work covers subjects of different scales and complexities: collective housing and individual houses, public and cultural facilities, scenography, microarchitecture, through public and private commissions or international competitions. He regularly gives conferences in France and abroad (Montreal, Einhoven, Les Entretiens de Chaillot...). Fascinated by drawing, perceived both as a tool for design and architectural exploration and as an exercise in observation and research, he is exhibited in numerous galleries.
