Lives and works in Paris. After studying at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière and an initiatory trip to Japan, Luc Boegly decided to devote himself to contemporary architectural photography and to the creation of his own photography studio. Patrimoniale by joining in 1988, as an associate member, the Archipress agency, the first agency specialized in photography on contemporary architecture. He has been working independently since 2002. He publishes monthly in French and foreign architecture magazines. His practice revolves around three axes: Architectural photography, through assignments commissioned by architects or publishers specialized in architecture. Exhibition photography, through reports for scenographers or cultural institutions such as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (MAD), the Fondation Cartier, the Fondation Carmignac. Scientific photography, through the constitution of research corpuses in architecture and urban planning in collaboration with researchers (monographs on architects and cities).
