Wooden frame decorated with a bronze medal depicting a Roman ecclesiastical scene on the obverse with the inscription "ARCHIEPISCOPATU - UTINENSI - RESTITUTO - ANNO - MDCCCXLVII", and on the reverse under the coat of arms of Cardinal "FABIO MARIAE ASQUINIO - S.R.E. PRAESBITERO CARDINALI - CIVI BENE MERITO - ORDO CANONICORUM". XIX century Diameter of the medal: 5.5 cm (oxidation) - Total height of the frame: 10.8 cm Fabio Maria Asquini (born on August 14, 1802 in Fagagna, in what is now the province of Udine, and died on September 23, 1878 in Rome) was a 19th century Italian cardinal. Provenance : - Collection of an Apostolic Nuncio from the mid-nineteenth century. - Kept in his family until today.
