COLIN de la BIOCHAYE sold in 1785 his position as President of the requests to the Parliament of Brittany to dedicate himself entirely to painting. He specialized in still life and interior scenes with a marked taste for detail. The artist is represented in the Louvre (STUART bequest from
CLÈVES) and in the museum of Rennes.
