Good copy. The first two parts only of the first edition of this splendid work by Knorr (1705-1761), German palaeontologist, painter, engraver & art dealer. Illustrated with 2 beautiful engraved titles and 60 hand-coloured engraved pl. featuring all sorts of shells. At the end of each part a classification table made after Rumpf and Linnaeus.
