Extremely rare GOLD MEDAL EMPIRE RUSSIA - Peter I the Great (1689-1725), on his meeting with August II (the Strong) of Poland, no year (1700). AV: Head of Peter the Great to the right. RV: Head of August the Strong to the right. Gold, diameter 14.79 mm horizontally, 14.72 mm vertically, weight 1.66 g. Edge smooth, very fine (vf). Waved handle at 12 o'clock. Scratches on AV and RV.
