BAUDELAIRE Charles. Reflections on some of my contemporaries: VIII. Pierre Dupont; IX. Leconte de Lisle. PRÉCIEUX JEU D'ÉPÉUVES CORRIGÉES PAR BAUDELAIRE Charles Baudelaire was one of the most assiduous contributors to the ephemeral Revue fantaisiste (15 February-15 November 1861), founded by Catulle Mendès. He published mainly prose poems and nine notices for French poets prepared by Eugène Crépet (included in the posthumous edition of L'Art romantique). The proofs include 18 typographical corrections by Baudelaire's hand and, on the first page, this signed autograph note addressed to the prote: . I understand that the last time the proofs were disinterlined. But I am anxious that this should not be, except in the case of absolute impossibility. C. B. Restored hinges and caps.
