A very complete ancient edition of indexes that make this edition one of the favourite ones for scholars of this classic work. Alfonso V of Aragon, King of Naples proposed Cristofor Landino to prepare an Italian translation of this classic of Natural Sciences. Once the work was finished, he wrote an epistle to the king, that is included in this edition, as well as Pliny's biography.
