LEURRE in the shape of a lead fish with eyes, gills and flippers figured. It has two curved barbed hooks, the tail pierced for hanging on the line (very eroded). Late 19th century. Length 20,5 cm.
This type of lure was used for cod fishing on the banks of Newfoundland.
