LEURRE in the shape of a lead fish with eyes, gills and flippers figured. It has two curved barbed hooks with a pierced tail for hanging on the line. Late 19th century. Length. 24,5 cm.
This type of lure was used for cod fishing on the banks of Newfoundland.
