Seymchan pallasite contains crystals that appear to be embedded in metal. These crystals are very high quality extraterrestrial peridots ( = olivine), naturally surrounded by metal since their formation in space more than 4.5 billion years ago.
The edge, polished with care, can easily be mounted into jewellery to bring out all the beauty of this pallasite. The peridots are naturally "set" in a ferronickel-type metal matrix. The slice, sold with its brass support, measures 65 x 14 mm, 2 mm for the thickness, for 8.49 g. Ideal piece to be mounted as a pendant.
