Wood
H.: 21 cm. / H.: 17.5 cm. / H.: 22.5 cm.
- 1 comb with eight Dan teeth, whose anthropomorphic handle represents a female body, standing on powerful, curved legs. The bust and generous breasts are decorated with scarification marks.
- 1 Baule eight-toothed comb, whose rectangular handle decorated with geometric motifs is surmounted by an anthropomorphic head carried by a long neck engraved with ngole keloids. The facial features are classic: half-closed eyes, straight nose, mouth carried forward.
- 1 comb with nine Songye teeth and rectangular handle decorated with fine linear engravings topped by a wide-striped protuberance showing a face with large stretched eyes.
Objects made specifically for colonial trade with obvious decorative interest.
