■ LIVING ROOM FURNITURE WITH THE EARLY QUEEN TRANSITION PHILIPPE POIRIE ESTAMPILLE, VERS 1765 - 1770 In moulded, carved and cream lacquered beech wood, comprising a pair of shepherdesses, four armchairs, six chairs, a pair of peepers and a pair of basket sofas, stamped PH POIRIE and JME, the violated backrests decorated with two rows of pearls, the whip-style armrest supports applied with an acanthus leaf, the slightly curved belt sculpted with two rows of pearls framing a frieze of posts, the curved connecting dice decorated with a pastille, the feet topped with a ring decorated with tapered, fluted and roughened lanceolate leaves, a sky blue silk cover brocaded with cream flowers and cherubs Shepherdess: H.: 94,5 cm.
