In moulded, carved, red lacquered and partially gilded wood, Indian ebony veneer, copper marquetry, pewter, grenadilla, vinette thorn, holly, boxwood, boxwood, walnut, yew burl, buckthorn, amaranth, padouk, gaiac, blue-stained horn, tortoiseshell caret and frank and elephant ivory, chased and gilded bronze ornamentation, decorated with large acanthus leaves, flowers and birds, the upper part presenting a central projection applied to the front of a first drawer of a medal of Louis XIV in profile inscribed in a military trophy, and opening by twelve drawers distributed on either side of a leaf surmounting a fourteenth drawer and discovering a small theatre decorated with a musician's figure, the sides provided with mirrors and opening by one drawer, each side decorated with a richly flowered vase placed on an entablature, the base opening with a drawer in the belt and supported by two figures of term representing Ceres and Bacchus, the bottom and the plinth decorated with paintings of flowered vases for the first and reserves united in frames of shells and foliage for the second; some reshuffling at the base
