Paris, Librairie Marpon & Flammarion, E. Flammarion successeur, sd (1895). Two volumes (Series 1 and 2) folded and shaped in the Japanese style and brought together in a 16 x 21 cm volume, bound in the publisher's burgundy full morocco binding under slipcover. First cover with an illustration in the Japanese style stamped on skin and inlaid. Personalised spine. Printed by the Shueisha company (Tokio). Each volume includes: a full-colour illustrated cover + 14 full-colour double-page prints + many black in-text drawings.
