Louis MADUREL, XXth century (Meilleur ouvrier de France in 1927) Dining room model. Masterwork representing a dining room opening through two small-paned doors onto a room decorated with a fireplace surmounted by a mirror and flanked by paintings and wall lights; Two wall units, clock, table, two chairs, plates and fireplace accessories. Opening through the lid. H: 25 cm; W: 29 cm; D: 26 cm A miniature masterpiece of a living room with furniture and objects, copper and glass marquetry. The ceiling light runs on a period battery. The doors of the furniture can be opened and the locks work. All made by LOUIS MADUREL; this masterpiece was made for the second 1927 exhibition of: the SOCIETE DES MEILLEURS OUVRIERS DE FRANCE of which he was co-founder. This model was exhibited at the MUSEE du TRAVAIL.
