BACCARAT HOUSE (Attributed to) and THE CRYSTAL STEP
Smoky crystal scroll vase with japanese decoration of birds and flowering branches entirely executed in gold. The neck and the base are decorated with a Greek-style frieze, also made of gold.
The vase rests on a quadripod base in gilt bronze with flowering branches.
Awarded to the House of Baccarat for the Crystal Staircase.
Circa 1880.
