Paris, Les Libraires associés, 1800, 2 vols. in-12, XXIV-640 p., a folding world map, and XII-620 p., an unfolding planisphere, full brown calf of the period, richly decorated ribbed spine, title and tomaison coins, all the boxes are decorated with a rare gilt iron representing an axe surrounded by a beam of lictors placed on four flags representing France (small lacks in the title and tomaison coins, a damaged corner, a flattened cap). Label from the period of the bookseller Dourdain de Tarbe on each volume. Nice copy.
