Comment: We thank Mr. Cyrille Froissart for having kindly indicated that the vase containing the bouquet of roses is a model of majolica from Faenza produced around 1580-1600. The same decoration with the cherub banding its bow was repeated on earthenware plates from Haarlem produced a few years later, around 1620-1640.
