BRONZE JANIFORM IDOL
Luristan, circa 8th century B.C.
Idol mastering with his two outstretched arms two monsters, whose curved necks are flanked by two rooster heads on either side of a second mask adorning the waist. The lower part of the statuette has five bird heads (the sixth is missing).
Green patina.
