IDOL "MASTER OF THE ANIMALS" IN BRONZE Luristan, circa 8th century B.C. Tubular Janiforme triple-masked indole with prominent flanks, mastering with its outstretched arms two crested tawny beasts with gaping maws whose curved necks are flanked by a bird's head.
