Our sculpture, whose marble was exhibited at the Salon of 1875, is an allegory of youth for the Monument to Henri Regnault and the students of the School of Fine Arts killed in 1870-1871, commissioned by the State in 1872, inaugurated in 1876 and currently kept in Paris in the courtyard of the Mûrier of the School of Fine Arts. A plaster sketch and a bronze reduction are now in the collections of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
