JAPAN - MEIJI period (1868-1912) Small wooden okimono, sitting sambaso dancer, holding a mask behind his back, his big hat and his tabako-ire inlaid with ivory. Wooden base H.: 8 cm. 3 in. Part of the hat's ivory replaced Expert: Cabinet PORTIER Pre-Convention ivory specimen of Elephantidae spp (I/A): prior to 1 July 1947 and in conformity with EC Rule 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc, prior to 1 July 1975 and in conformity with the French decrees of 16 August 2016 and 4 May 2017 For an exit from the European Union, a CITES re-export permit will be required, this being the responsibility of the future buyer.
