Andy WARHOL - You're in - Metallic gray Coke bottle - Note :The artist promoted the project on a poster for an exhibition at the Merchandise Museum with the mischievous title "You're In". However, by subversively pointing out that these Coca-Cola bottles were ostensibly filled with urine, Warhol seemed to defame a product that almost all Americans consumed. Coca-Cola, however, was not amused and demanded that Warhol's art production and sales be stopped. This work embodies Warhol's profound and unprecedented ability to both iconically preserve and simultaneously destroy the commercial identity of the everyday object.
