Biography:
Marie Fel, born in Bordeaux on October 24, 1713 and died in Chaillot on February 2.
1794 is a French singer, daughter of the organist Henri Fel.
After having been trained in singing and art in general by Mrs. Christina Antonia
van Loo (1704-1785), she made her debut at the Paris Opera in 1733, singing
regularly at the Spiritual Concert. In a career spanning 35 years, she has performed in
all of Rameau's operas alongside Pierre de Jélyotte, creates those of
Mondonville and take over Lully and Campra's. She bids farewell to the stage
in 1758, but continued to perform in concert until 1769 and 1783.

Among his suitors were Louis de Cahusac and Melchior Grimm. She
had a lasting relationship with the painter Quentin de La Tour, who produced his
portrait.
