He thanks him for sending his work [Psychology of Immortality], which gave him a double pleasure: "First of all the pleasure of reading it, then the pleasure of knowing that one is not completely forgotten in these mountains, where, trying to rebuild my health, I feel the need not to die, which is the pleasure of immortality. So, nothing is more topical for me than what you say about it".
