Our work was created in 1922 when Kotchar was living in Tiflis, Georgia and obtained a visa to go abroad. This painting will travel with him from the shores of the Bosphorus through Venice to Paris. It will be one of the two works selected by the artist for the exhibition at the Salon des Indépendants in 1924.
