The French painted by themselves. Paris. Curmer. 1840 - 1843. 8 volumes in-8, half black grief, spine to nerves. Without the volume of Prisme which was offered. A unique copy, comprising 404 colour engravings. This copy was filled with 13 original drawings and watercolours by Henri Monnier, Pauquet... and 152 engravings in colour or black, on flying paper, some on China paper.
