Censer with the effigy of the nocturnal sun god GIII The face is modelled on a cylinder and two ventacles are placed on each side with remains of black painted decoration. The tubular shape, from which the smoke came out, symbolized the cosmic tree and made it possible for spirits and deities to travel through the strata of the cosmos. The deity can be identified by his circular eyes with curling eyebrows and a pointed tongue coming out of his mouth when open.
