The Ascent of the High Evil is one of the paragons of the autobiographical comic strip at the turn of the 21st century. David B, one of the founding members of the publishing house L'Association, recounts his family life with an older brother with epilepsy and parents who, in desperation, turned to gurus and charlatans to help their son. In this page, very characteristic of the author's approach, his very specific graphic language highlights the rage of the artist and his physical incarnation. A real lesson in contrasts.
