Rose ADLER (1890-1959) Modernist frame, the bottom and supporting rod in glass with blue paper laminated, decorated in the center with a sandblasted frame, the two-legged frame in chromed metal. Circa 1930 (small chips in the corners, back of the support in added Plexiglas, small deformation in one support leg, missing blue paper). 28.5 x 41 cm. It is probable that this frame was used as a frame for a work by Max Ernst. Ref : Sale Sotheby's , Paris, 21 November 2017, a work by Max Ernst in a very similar frame sold under lot 25.
