APPEARANCE OF THE VIRGIN TO TWO DOMINICAN HOLY DOMINICANS depicted with the attributes of their martyr.
The monk on the right wears the crown of thorns on his head. The Virgin presents shackles for flogging. Above the head of the monk on the left, the Virgin presents a pair of cloth reliquaries. In the centre of the gusset at the bottom of these two objects is painted a red cross.
