Historism can Westerwald, probably Reinhold Merkelbach, end of 19th century, grey stoneware, salt-glazed, the wall relieved and painted in blue with floral and ornamental borders, in between wider borders with two griffins on each side, between them a coat of arms, frontal round cartouche with inscription ''Zeit Wind Frau u. Glück verändern im Augenblick'', the spout formed as a mask, bulbous wall with narrow neck, ear handle, stepped tin lid with pusher, pressed mark ''794'' at the bottom, h: approx. 40,5 cm. Crack at the base of the handle.
