Roller jug with tin mounting Erfurt, lid dat. 1737, reddish-brown body, glazed, the conical wall decorated in hot-fire colours, the fond sprinkled with manganese, on top of it a frontal cartouche with depiction of St. Francis of Assisi. Georgs, framed by rocailles and volutes, pewter base ring, on the pewter lid with a spherical pusher cartouche with embossed crucifixion scene, underneath dat. ''1737'', on the inside three pewter caster marks, at the bottom manufacturing mark wheel and letter ''E'', h: 27 cm. Lid dented, inside with hairline cracks.
