Big and quite thin Tabriz ( North West of Iran ). Middle XX°. Technical characteristics: Wool velvet on cotton foundations. Density. Approx. 7000 knots per dm². Decorated with a very large central medallion of old pink inlaid with a second central medallion of ivory, navy and turquoise intertwined flowers in the shape of a diamond and forming the central field. Four spandrels with geometrical crowns of turquoise flowers. Broad beige main border with geometrically stylized turtle shells surrounded by pastel-toned floral buds and bulbs. Good general condition. Dimensions: 300 x 200 cm.
